Nene maakt al haar hele leven kunst en werd in 1994 professioneel kunstenaar. Later stopte ze met contractwerk om zich te richten op de fantasiewerelden waar ze van houdt, waarbij ze evolueerde van aquarel naar digitale kunst. Veel van haar werken zijn geïnspireerd door "The Zarryiostrom," de epische serie die ze samen met haar man ontwikkelt.
