The Snowdrop cuts a bold white and navy silhouette across the Mersey, her bow parting a deep steel-blue river into a wide, foaming wake. Behind her, the Liverpool waterfront unfolds in a low band of grey-blue stone, the twin towers of the Royal Liver Building rising unmistakably against a sky stacked with dramatic, overcast morning clouds in cream and slate blue.
This scene captures Mersey Ferries in its element, decks lined with passengers, funnel striped in navy and rust, moving steadily toward a city skyline that has watched over this crossing for generations. The bold, simplified color blocks and vibrant contrasts of hull, water and sky translate beautifully into a paint-by-numbers format, with each large contiguous shape making the pre-printed numbered canvas satisfying to fill in even for first-timers.
Whether you grew up riding this exact ferry, love Liverpool's landmark architecture, or simply appreciate a moody river scene rendered in punchy navy, cream and steel blue, this kit rewards patience with a genuinely striking result. It's a thoughtful gift for anyone with ties to the Mersey, and a relaxing project for hobbyists who enjoy watching a skyline emerge stroke by stroke.
Pick up your brushes, work through the numbered reference sheet at your own pace, and bring this Liverpool crossing to life on your own 16" x 20" canvas.
You do the painting. We take care of everything else.

I liked this one. Hardest part was adding the black lines in the background.

Good quality paints, not so much the brushes. Probably didn’t need 48 colours for this particular painting

Beautiful drawing! My only regret is that the paint is thick and the canvas doesn't hold it well; otherwise, it's fine overall. If you want to reply, please do so in French; it would be better. Thank you. Have a good day.

Pretty fun and sometimes didn’t want to put the brush down. Paint didn’t run out and still had some left for touch ups. Will definitely purchase others.

This is my fifth paint by number canvas. I’m totally addicted and in love with this. I purchased a 16 x 20 48 paint rolled canvas. My husband put it on a board for me. I prefer to paint my canvases on a board versus a pre-framed canvas. My Husband also made a frame and I gifted this beautiful picture to my sister and can’t wait to start on my next ones which will be Christmas gifts. I’ve been trying different companies to find out what company I wanna stay with and vinified was very good. The paints were great. The canvas was very clear with the numbers and the sample page was very legible. I would buy again.

I really enjoyed working on this painting, especially by the way the numbers were displayed and the quality of the paints. Can't wait for my next painting 🎨

This particular project was very personal for me as I was gifting it to my father for his 82nd birthday and it was of my late mother with Jesus. He had teasing his eyes when he unwrapped it and said it was the best thing he’s ever received so thank you very much for allowing me to enjoy this wonderful project that met so much to me. As always it was amazing.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Every kit includes a pre-printed canvas with numbered sections, high-opacity acrylic paint pots matched to those numbers, three wooden-handle brushes in different sizes, and a printed reference image with instructions. The only extras worth grabbing are a cup of water for rinsing brushes and a paper towel for drying them. Most customers paint straight out of the box.
We'll send you replacement paint free of charge. Just email hello@davincified.com with your order number and the color number you're missing. Every kit includes more paint than the design requires, and our high-opacity formula covers the numbers in a single coat, so running out is rare. Replacements are matched to your kit, so the finished painting stays consistent.
Yes. Paint by numbers was made for people with zero experience: match each numbered paint pot to the numbered sections on the canvas and fill them in, one color at a time. If you've painted over a section and forgot its number, the included reference map shows what's underneath. And if you already paint, you'll find plenty of detailed designs to dive into as well. Every kit is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Three things: materials, technology, and the guarantee behind them. You get a wrinkle-free linen-blend canvas that's individually primed, high-opacity paints that cover the numbers in one coat, and quality brushes. Custom kits use our Smart Sectioning algorithm, and the Color Preview shows exactly how your finished kit will look before you order. Everything ships in a protective tube and is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Most orders arrive within 1-2 weeks, depending on your country. As soon as your order ships you'll get an email with a tracking number, and you can follow it any time on our Track Order page. We ship to 100+ countries, and the delivery estimate for your country is shown right on the product page.
Plan for 8-12 hours on a simpler design with around 24 colors, and 20+ hours for detailed 36- or 48-color designs. Most people spread that across a week or two of relaxed evening sessions. There's no rush: sealed paint pots keep well between sessions. Painting toward a gift date? Pick a lower color count.
